Abstract
In continuation of previous study of the impact-parameter representations of potential scattering amplitudes at large angles, we have numerically evaluated and compared various approximate forms of the impact phases along the trajectories parallel to the initial, final, and average momenta. The necessity of phase averaging in the symmetric forms of the amplitudes is pointed out. None of the presently available approximations seems to be sufficiently accurate to reliably replace the phase-shift analysis at large angles. Keywords
