Abstract
Crossed molecular beam techniques have been used to study the endoergic reaction between F2 and I2. Above a threshold energy of 4 kcal/mole the observed products are I2F and F. At higher energies IF is also produced. Angular and velocity distributions indicate that the IF does not result from a four‐center exchange reaction. Keywords
