Abstract
The practice of diagnosing, posthumously, historical figures is highlighted and dis-cussed. Specifically, the emphasis is on (a) underscoring the unsatisfactory nature of the evidence offered for those diagnosed as learning disabled or dyslexic and (b) presenting other explanations for the problems noted.Keywords
