Abstract
Angular correlations between and x rays in obtained from a radioactive source of 32-yr were measured using Si(Li) and Ge(Li) detectors. The measured angular-correlation coefficients for the cascade and for the cascade are both significantly higher than theoretical predictions. The intensity of the Pu x ray per vacancy was found to be . The angular correlation coefficient of the x-ray cascade was measured and found to be and is in agreement with theoretical predictions.
