Abstract
A case of general anaesthesia for removal of carcinoid metastases is presented. Evidence of serotonin hypersecretion was shown by raised levels of 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid, hypertension and tachycardia. The rarity of osteoblastic carcinoid metastases is discussed.Keywords
