New Measurement of the Positronium Hyperfine Interval

Abstract
The hyperfine interval of the positronium ground state has been measured with significantly improved accuracy. Using a S buffer gas we obtain GHz and . Using a buffer gas we obtain GHz and . No evidence is found for a quadratic dependence of on density in either gas.
