Hot-electron production with multiple-frequency illumination

Abstract
The use of multiple-frequency illumination is shown to be capable of reducing the energy of suprathermal electrons produced in the laser-plasma interaction. The range of the suprathermal electrons is shown to vary inversely with the number of spectral components.Keywords
