Abstract
New high-resolution LIF measurements on RbCs, using various Kr+ laser lines have been performed. Transitions to very high vibrational levels of the ground state were observed when using the 568·2nm line. These new data, together with already existing Ar+ LIF data, have made possible a detailed description of the ground state up to near dissociation. An accurate value of the ground state dissociation energy, De =3845±1 cm−1, has been obtained. Keywords
