Abstract
Hyaluronidase and other "depolymerases" of several strains of Group A streptococci were studied. Enzyme production varied under different conditions of growth and on different media of different composition. Enzyme production varied inversely with proteinase production by these strains. A brief description of cell-free enzyme activities against various substrates in the presence of several activators is given. Keywords
