Abstract
Young ducklings rapidly develop a nicotinic acid deficiency on purified diets low in nicotinic acid as well as on the modified Goldberger diet containing large amounts of corn. The symptoms observed were lack of growth, diarrhea, and general weakness. The requirement for rapid growth on the purified diet is approximately 2.5 mg per 100 gm of ration. Keywords
