Abstract
The vacuum spray method was demonstrated to be a novel method for polymer solar cell fabrication. Semiconductor polymers such as poly[2-methoxy-5-(2'-ethyl-hexyloxy)-p-phenylene vinylene] (MEH-PPV) and poly(3-dodecylthiophene-2,5-diyl) (PDDT) were chosen as donors in the polymer solar cells, and C60 was used as the acceptor. The polymer layer in the polymer solar cells was prepared by the vacuum spray method. Gold (Au) was used as the electrode material. A significant photovoltaic phenomenon was observed. Keywords
