Abstract
The total and eddy transport of water vapour are derived from 1967 upper-air data at South African aerological stations. Broad features of the transport fields are given as well as a brief comparative analysis of water vapour studies. It is shown that the transport of vapour over Southern Africa corresponds closely with results obtained in similar studies elsewhere. Keywords
