Abstract
In this experiment hydroxylapatite-coated dental implants were submitted to a wear test in order to study their resistance to toothbrushing. After 20,000 double brush strokes the coating had disappeared in some places. It was concluded that the wear resistance of the coating was not good enough to withstand longer brushing periods. Keywords
