Abstract
During a population study of Octopus dofleini, the dens of octopus were checked for other organisms. A variety of organisms were consistently associated with the dens or wirh debris accumulating at the den arising from the feeding behaviour of rhe octopus. These co-inhabitants included fishes, sea stars and crabs. For some organisms the association involved scavenging, but in other cases the relationship was not clear. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
