Abstract
Strongly oriented superconducting films on a (100)MgO single crystal with Tc(onset)=118 K and Tc(zero)=80 K have been prepared by the RF magnetron sputtering process and two-step annealing. The target was prepared by spray deposition of a nitrate solution. Films with similar X-ray diffraction patterns show significantly different curves of resistance against temperature. In addition, a long annealing time favours the formation of the high-Tc phase. Keywords
