Abstract
The bioelectric potential difference between the cervix and the abdominal skin above the symphysis pubis has been measured in 30 cases of uterine carcinoma. Only 30% of the patients showed a negative potential of the cervix. This is in contrast with the findings of other workers who have reported negative results in about 100% of the cases and have therefore attributed diagnostic significance to these measurements. Some factors which may influence the potential are discussed. Keywords
