Abstract
The perturbative approach for rapid calculation of recoil corrections to the heavy-ion distorted-wave Born approximation has been extended to second order without further approximation. The resulting calculational scheme turns out to be so well converged as to be essentially exact finite range for single nucleon transfer at energies not too far above the Coulomb barrier. Keywords
