Abstract
Normal rats exhibit a well-defined hyperglycemia on being tied down and stimulated with an interrupted Faradic current. This condition was more marked in [male][male] than in [female][female]. After stimulation the adrenalectomized rats showed on the average no increase in blood sugar, although they displayed the outward signs of exictement and rage, such as biting and struggling. The blood sugar in the adrenalectomized rats was lower on the average in the quiet state than in a similar condition in the controls. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
