Abstract
The effectiveness of various combinations of selective enrichment and plating media for the isolation of salmonellae from meat and animal samples has been compared. For the routine examination of meat and meat products enrichment in tetrathionate brilliant green broth followed by plating on brilliant green and Wil~on and Blair bismuth sulphite agar is recommended. Keywords
