Canonical symmetrization for unitary bases. I. Canonical Weyl bases

Abstract
It is shown that the Weyl basis formed by the canonical symmetrization of an n‐dimensional, p‐rank tensor space with canonical projection operators of Sp is a Gel’fand basis of U(n). This basis may easily be generated using standard projection operator techniques.Keywords
