Abstract
We demonstrate low fiber-waveguide coupling loss in a large optical mode barrier reservoir and quantum well electron transfer (BRAQWET) modulator. Electrooptic efficiency and propagation loss are comparable to those measured in a conventional waveguide structure with the same active material. Keywords
