Abstract
The administration of thyroxine and tri-iodothyronine causes an increase in the relative weight of the adrenal glands in normal rats. The decrease in adrenal gland weight caused by cortisone or cortisol administration is suspended when thyroxine or tri-iodothyronine is administered. The significance of these results pointing to a direct influence of thyroid hormone on the adrenals is discussed. Keywords
