Abstract
An unexpected nonlinear response was observed in the superflows generated in part of the phase by applying a magnetic field gradient: No observable superflow could be produced below a temperature-dependent threshold magnetic field gradient. The observation is interpreted as evidence for the presence of up-spin pairs in the phase contrary to the conventional description.
