Abstract
The first theoretical study of the optical absorption in three magnetic phases of an ordered FeRh alloy is reported. The transition probabilities from occupied to unoccupied states are properly taken into account. Finally, it is shown that each magnetic phase has its characteristic absorption peaks. Keywords
