Abstract
-Joins previous authors in proposing that chemical substances proposed as fungicidal or fungistatic agents be subjected to test through measurement of inhibitory action on fungus respiration, by use of manometric methods. Reports results of such tests on the effect of several inorganic salts (ZnCl2, Zn(NO3)2, CdCl2, CdSO4, AgNO3, and HgCl2) on O2 consumption of Epidermophyton floccosum, Trichophyton rubrum, and T. gypseum. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
