Abstract
Absolute total cross sections for inelastic processes in (Li+, Na), (Li+, K), (Na+, K), and (K+, Na) collisions have been measured at ion energies lower than 1.5 keV. Both direct and charge-transfer excitation have been observed. The results are interpreted in terms of the electronic structure of asymmetric alkali dimer ions. Keywords
