Abstract
An electron microscope study of developing nervous tissue has been made in the chick embryo, correlating the results with those obtained by other techniques. I have been especially concerned with (1) the relationship between ectoderm and mesoderm cells at the time of neural induction, and (2) the formation of the Nissl substance. Keywords
