Abstract
The thyroid weight and the total thyroid I increase in proportion to body-weight in the growing bird. The thyroid weight and the thyroid I are both greatest previous to the period of maximum egg-production. The ovary contains only a trace of I but the large ova contain appreciable amounts. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
