Abstract
The emphasis in this review is on the cyclic activity of the single hair follicle. The subject of follicle dynamics is discussed under 4 major headings: development of the follicle and the 1st hair; phases of the cycle; expts. relating to the growth of hair; and relation of hair growth to the whole skin.Keywords
