Abstract

The

s

-wave asymptotic normalization constants

C_{0}

(

{}^{3}H

) and

C_{0}

(

{}^{3}H

) are calculated for the Reid soft-core potential. The Coulomb effect is taken into account for

{}^{3}{He}

.

C_{0} ({}^{3}{He}) = 1.765

and

C_{0} ({}^{3}H) = 1.706

have been obtained. In

{}^{3}{He}

(

{}^{3}H

), about 60% of the contribution is due to the transition from the

pp

(

nn

)

{}^{1}S_{0}

state of a pair in one set of coordinates to the

np {}^{3}D_{1}

state of another set.
