Abstract
The effect of migration in the diffuse double layer on the concentration field of the reactive species is analyzed assuming that the electrode reaction [Formula: see text] is preceded by a chemical reaction [Formula: see text] (ZX = 0). Comparison is made with the solutions derived already by Hurwitz and also by Matsuda for particular cases. Keywords
