Abstract
The charge distribution and the chemical potential corresponding to a vortex on a superconducting film in a Coulomb-gas analogy is calculated within the Ginzburg-Landau theory. These quantities enter in a description of thermal vortex fluctuations close to the superconducting transition.Keywords
