Abstract
The wavelengths and energies of Mo L1, L2 and L3 absorption limits have been measured with a curved quartz crystal spectrometer, and it has been found that the values given by previous researchers are considerably in error. A white line has been observed at the L1 absorption discontinuity, for the first time in the case of transition elements in the metallic state, as well as white lines for the L2 and L3 absorption discontinuities. The transitions corresponding to the absorption limits and the white lines are discussed. Keywords
