Abstract
The electrostatic contribution to the internal energy of the free charges of a hydrogen plasma is computed by numerically solving a modified Poisson-Boltzmann equation. The particles of the plasma are classified as bound or free according to whether their total energy is less than or greater than a parameter ). The dependence of the thermodynamic functions on the parameter is investigated by making calculations for several values of .
