Abstract
Antibody raised in rabbits against Cryptococcus neoformans was highly effective in passive immunization against cryptococcosis in normal and athymic mice. However, protection was demonstrable only if the antibody was present at the time of challenge, and at the site of challenge. Les anticorps de lapins hyperimmunisés contre Cryptococcus neoformans permettent l'installation d'une immunité passive efficace contre la cryptococcose, aussi bien chez les souris normales que chez les souris athymiques. Cependant, cette protection ne peut être démontrée que si les anticorps sont déja présents au moment de l'inoculation d'épreuve, au lieu même de l'inoculation.Keywords
