Abstract
Gamma-G GlobulinγG globulin comprises at least 80 per cent of the serum antibodies of the adult. Antibodies to gram-positive pyogenic bacteria, antiviral antibodies and antitoxins in human serum from adults are found almost exclusively among the γG globulins.γG globulin contains about 2.5 per cent by weight of carbohydrate.82 The sugar is associated with the γ chain, but its precise localization on the γ chain is not known. Of this sugar, there is 1.2 per cent galactose and mannose, 1.4 per cent hexosamine, 0.3 per cent fucose and 0.2 per cent sialic acid. At least in the rabbit all . . .Keywords
