Abstract
The cross section for the capture H(α,γLi was measured in the energy range of about ≊2 MeV corresponding to the resonance in at =2186 keV. Calculations in a direct-capture model using double-folded α-d potentials reproduce strength and width of this resonance as well as the nonresonant capture cross section at lower and higher energies.
