Abstract
From Oct., 1945, through April, 1949, over 506,000 arthropods were collected from 32,320 mammals taken in s.-w. Georgia. Spp. of arthropods, collected from 31 spp. of mammals, included 7 Mallophaga, 7 Anoplura, 1 Hemiptera, 3 Coleoptera, 5 Diptera, 16 Siphonaptera, and 66 Acarina. Abundance on each host was recorded for all ectoparasites. Data were sufficient to show seasonal variations in abundance for 1 spp. of Anoplura, 3 of Siphonaptera, and 6 of Acarina. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
