Abstract
Gel filtration of crude and countercurrent distribution fractions of Escherichia coli B soluble ribonucleic-acid (sRNA) revealed several molecular species. Only peak-3 has amino-acid acceptor activity. The inactive species could be converted to active material by urea treatment. These results are discussed in terms of a modulation mechanism of sRNA.This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
