Abstract
A method is described for obtaining from tissues of experimental animals large numbers of schistosome eggs uncontaminated by tissue fragments or microorganisms. The method is based on established techniques of comminution, tryptic digestion, and screening, but incorporates the use of a new filter which permits efficient screening and washing of eggs in a closed system. Keywords
