Abstract
A series of new platinum(II) and platinum(IV) complexes containing R-(-)-cyclohexylethylamine (R-CHEA) of the type cis-Pt11(R-CHEA)2X2 (where X = C1 or I), cis–Pt11(R-CHEA)2X′ (where X′ = l,1-cyclobutanedicarboxylate or oxalate), and PtIV(R-CHEA)2Cl2X′2 (where X″ = OH, Cl, OCOCF3, OCOCCl3, OCOCH3 or OCOCH2CH3) has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and by IR, 13C, and 195Pt NMR spectroscopy.Keywords
