Abstract
Experimental Shigella flexneri 3 infections of normal mice were produced by oral, rectal and intraperitoneal challenge. Infected animals showed mesenteric hemorrhage, spleen and liver involvement, mild bacteremia, leukocytosis, and occasional diarrhetic episodes.Keywords
