Abstract
Colin Evers is Associate Professor in the School of Graduate Studies of the Faculty of Education at Monash University in Australia and Gabriele Lakomski is Head of the Department of Policy, Context and Evaluation Studies at the University of Melbourne in Australia. In this paper they reprise and develop some of the keys ideas which inform their book Knowing Educational Administration and in doing so set the scene for the papers which follow in this symposium.Keywords
