Abstract
Two different effects of radiation on the ESR spectrum of TMPN (2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinol-N-oxyl) were found. The TMPN signal disappeared exponentially with increasing close, while a new signal simultaneously arose in the TMPN spectrum, which belonged to the nitroxyl free radical TAN (2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidone-N-oxyl). The reaction scheme for the oxidation of TMPN to TAN was given. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
