Abstract
Glycolysis was inhibited by deoxy-D-glucose and oxidative phosphorylation by means of either antimycin or oligomycin to reduce the energy potential of blood platelets. This resulted in inhibition of clot retraction and of adhesion and aggregation of platelets. Keywords
