Abstract
The formation of tetra-hydrofolate dehydrogenase in different growth periods of S. thermophilus and L. arabinosus has been studied. In both organisms the tetrahydrofolate dehydrogenase activity increased from the very beginning of the lag phase and reached maximum level early in the exponential phase. Afterthe maximum it decreased and was about the same at the beginning of the retardation phase as at the beginning of the lag phase. Keywords
