The effect of various crop roots on clover bacteria (Rhizobium trifolii) and alfalfa bacteria (R. meliloti) living together was investigated using two kinds of soil: Southern Kantō volcanic ash soil at Tanashi and alluvial clay loam soil at Tachikawa.Keywords
