Abstract
The substrate specificity of 20 aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases from E. coli and 13 enzymes from baker''s yeast with regard to 8 ATP analogs is investigated for a comparison of the active-site topography. The enzymes are arranged in a scheme of possible enzyme families and compared to earlier schemes. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
