Abstract
The negative parity spectra of 71Ga and 73As and the positive parity spectra of 72Ge and 74Se are examined in the light of a shell-model calculation in which the configuration space consists of protons in the complete 0f-1p shell with the restriction that not more than two holes are allowed in the 0f7/2 orbital. A 'realistic' interaction is used and the appropriate 'effective' interaction calculated. Keywords
