Abstract
The decay rates for are calculated using an octet of transition operators that has been introduced previously in the framework of an algebraic model. The results are compared with experimental data, and restrictions on the symmetry-breaking relations for these transition operators are obtained which are shown to be the analog of other well-known symmetry-breaking relations.
